A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Turkey Farm
There are many who will probably wonder where I got the title for this post. Honestly, I have no idea why this title came about. It sounded fun while trying to figure out where to end this post. There are so many things to be thankful for that it may be really difficult to list them all.
I celebrated 39 years of life that is mine by God's will. (Nov 20) The church where I serve threw a Thanksgiving and birthday dinner for me. In my last post, I shared that I was preparing to take guitar lessons. I have successfully learned to plunk through three chord songs... so far.
Since the last post, my Grandmother broke her shoulder. I made it through three weeks of an intimidating class. Thanksgiving day got me to think about the word thankfulness. As those who read this blog regularly know, I can get abstract--to say it lightly. Why do we call it thanksgiving when the actual attitude should be gratitude?
Now that I have laid out the abstract thought I will leave this be until the end of the class.
