Undercover Blonde Moment

Have you ever had one of those days? Yesterday (Sunday) I was preaching about Prayer being the heartbeat of the church. I think the lesson would have been much better it I did not have a mega blonde moment right in the middle of things. For many of you who know my love for definitions... You will hopefully get the humor in this.

Blonde moment : Noun the process or action of one's brain to deem the affected individual temporaryily stupid and is easily identifiable as one who has had his or her expression to be compared to that of a deer in the headlights.

This happened to me on Sunday in the third service. I am truly gratful that God is the focus of a message and not me, God fixed things. We have a very moving service that led to a very healthy prayer time. There are some who read this blog, and hope that I will recap my sermon from Sunday. All I can say, is that if you missed it, you will not get a "play by play" here... and when I am accused of being harsh, then maybe you should have been in Church and not missed out.

We did have a really great Men's Breakfast Saturday morning... Although we agreed that we would go out to eat at an inexpensive resturant so that we can focus on three very important orders of business.... God, the Church; and most importantly FOOD!
