Its Official...I Have Lost My Ever Lovin' Mind
I was originally going to start this post with Paul's statement if I am out of my mind it is for Christ. But I think God has other plans.
As I stated on the 18th We have just completed District Assembly. Prior to this Assembly, I was seriously "burned out". Our District Superintendant called all Pastors and Church Leaders who are burned out to go on a retreat and not to return until we hear from God. Well I did so this past Friday. Friday and Saturday I was seperated from everyone and simply prayed God what to you want from me? the response was very clear, "I called you to be a Pastor, not an Administrator." Wow a whole weekend, that was all I got? Gee. OH? Wait that was not me talking, it was God. So if God wants to be "Sparce" with His words he can. But the message was clear. To me this call means switch directions. So it is official I have truly lost my mind and have begun to understand what it means to have the mind of Christ.
Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test? And I trust that you will discover that we have not failed the test. (II Corinthians 13.5-6 NIV)
